Hi! I'm Georgia!
I graduated from UC Berkeley's Master of Design program in early 2026, and I'm currently based in SF.
I'm a product designer who's been trying to explore the path of becoming a design engineer. The idea first clicked for me when I came across floguo's posts on X—about how someone with zero coding experience gradually transitioned into a design engineer. It was honestly super inspiring. At the same time, I became very aware that in the age of AI, this transition can be accelerated in ways that weren't possible before.
So I decided to step out of Figma and start building things myself.
It hasn't been easy (if you don't know how to code, you can't really “vibe code”), but surprisingly, it's been a lot of fun. At first I just started with some small components, then some interesting visual effects. I'm naturally a very curious person—I constantly have random ideas popping into my head. In the past, I could only sketch them out in Figma. But now, I can actually turn those little flashes of ideas into something real. That shift feels kind of magical to me.
For example you might have noticed the small interaction on the homepage of my portfolio? I'm curious if you found it interesting :) If you did, that would make me really happy. That idea actually came from an illustration I saw on Pinterest. I spent about a minute imagining the interaction, and around two hours building it. That's usually how I work when inspiration hits.

And I genuinely love that process—turning ideas into reality.
Of course, I'm planning to build a lot more—both visually and functionally (and honestly, I am trying to build a real app right now). Becoming a designer who creates meaningful work—things that actually inspire people—has always been my goal.
If you like my portfolio or have any feedback, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn or X! (You can also find me on RedNote—I've been sharing my design journey there.) If you like my work, it would truly make me happy. And I'm always open to feedback—I'm still at a very early stage in my career, so any advice means a lot to me.
Seriously—feel free to message me anytime. I'll definitely reply :)
